Failure in a Diesel B engine published by manual-mecanica
Anyone knows why oil drains from the breath of a cummins series B 5.9. Realized, just by increasing revolutions, I don't throw in idle. Thanks in advance

Hi Chuy76.
In a diesel or gasoline engine that is a symptom of compression pass to the crankcase, it can be piston rings or spent valve guides, if it is with turbo this could also be the cause, it is likely that you have blue smoke in the escape. Luck.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Failure in a Diesel B series engine
Hi Servilimit,
thanks for answering the engine, it is newly adjusted, it does not fail and not made smoke just by accelerating the engine to more than 1500 rpm begins to throw. In idle or a drop and the oil pressure is 65-70 psi in minimal march.

Hi Chuy76.
If the engine is recently repaired, it is time to wait about two or three hours of work so that the rings feel that the oil pressure is normal. If it is not natural, what about the turbo?
