Hi, have you tried another battery? It could be a corroded component inside the battery. From what you're saying, it sounds more like a loose wire; it's not necessarily a main wire. Check all the wiring, and if that doesn't solve the problem, completely disconnect the alternator
with a fully charged battery and see if it still cuts out. This way, you can rule out a problem with the alternator itself, since if the rotor shorts to ground, it can cause it to send too much current.

Indeed, my friend, all four ignition coils have already been replaced, and the fuel pump assembly has been installed, but the problem persists; it's still doing the same thing, nothing has changed at all...

Friend, I haven't tried a short circuit with another battery yet. I'll do that test tomorrow to see what happens. Regarding disconnecting the alternator, I already did that and the problem persists exactly the same. Thank you very much...

Friend Valdiviano, the grounds you mentioned are located in this model at the rear near the camshaft sensor. I bridged them with another wire to the ECU and the problem persists, it doesn't improve at all... Thank you very much...

What I find strange is that current variation you're experiencing. When you say you disconnected the alternator, you must disconnect all its cables, and be careful not to ground yourself to the alternator's positive terminal.

Friend, it's super important that you measure the grounds from where they're connected to the computer, separately, with the computer disconnected. This way, you won't have the grounds bridged by the circuit's shunts, which could lead to an inaccurate reading. Now, Daihatsu monitors the alternator's status, so also be suspicious of the computer's connector connections. It might have loose contacts on its pins, or corrosion that can make the contacts resistant. This is my experience in automotive electronics service, which I see daily and is what I do for a living. It's good to do this with a manual to follow the signal patterns and trace them with an oscilloscope to determine when the event occurs. Regarding manuals, a Toyota manual might also be useful, since the engines and ECUs are originally from that brand. Good luck. Valdiviano.
