Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: smoke in the escape
Good Luis. How did you annul the EGR? If you did it by plugging the empty tube, I would recommend that you remove the EGR and FABRIQUES yourself a blind metal board, so that communication with the admission collector is totally null. Then you place the EGR that would be ornament.
Make the board with a fine sheet of some bodybrowst of the body's putty or with any can you have at home. Many times it is a bit open and that is what produces that smell so strong that it even drowns you.
Have luck ...

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: smoke in the escape
The EGR was canceled by placing a blind sheet of sheet metal so I rule out that the problem comes on that side, I will try to verify the injection model.
The strange thing is that it is not continuous, another issue that I have noticed is that with the Euro Diesel I do not see moisting, at least from within the car, past days I went to Chile where Euro 4 diesel is not achieved and in a long descent the smoke that came out through the escape was impressive, it veiled it by the mirror, but then in Argentina and already working with euro, the problem disappeared despite the long descent of the mountain range, it really is a mystery. The other issue is that in the concessionaire they tell me that it is not necessary to use Euro diesel, it can work with common diesel, but smoke appears.
It has 57,000 km, I do not think it is a valve problem, it is difficult that with such little mileage it has problems with the valve setting, really a mystery.
But I worry that it is a drip of injectors, because that would be washing the cylinders and of course a premature wear of them.
