Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Automatic Transmission Box Oil
Well
1- The oil for your transmission must comply with the following cryteristic: viscosity at 100ºC 7.5 mm/sys The inflammation point is 208ºC.
2- If proper oil is not used for each transmission, there is a risk of generating a greater degaste of the transmission of the valve body compounds, which would generate herratic changes, absence of changes, blows when changing marches also sounds inside the transmissations.
3- Actually the manufacturers of the cars are somewhat selfish about the data and thickness of the oils and additives that recommend using the car. So the way of knowing what the correct oil is is seeing in the driver's manual in the maintenance section they give us the type and quantity of oil.
4- I couldn't break anything about these people because I don't know them. But if I would recommend that you always have your car with a technician that is your confianity and you would avoid many problems.
