The seventh golf generation reaches this fall, incorporating the most advanced driving aid systems and innovations such as the anti -collisions system . A new car, very equipped , made through the innovative MQB modular platform.
From the entrance version, the new golf , has elements such as the radio with touch screen , and optional such as the attractive panoramic sunroof . In Spain, the new golf will be offered with three different finish lines, Edition, Advance and Sport , all with a wide standard equipment.
As for the engines, the new golf will be with five motorizations ; Three TSI gasoline of 105, 122 and 140 hp and two diesel, and two TDI, one of 105 hp and the new TDI of 150 hp of power. All combine both with manual and automatic DSG change. The 1.4 TSI 140 hp engine offers consumption rates and CO2 emissions of 5.3 l/100 km and 121 g/km respectively (5 l/100km and 116 g/km in the DSG). Diesel engines have an average of consumption rates and CO2 emissions of 3.8 l/100 km and 99 g/km for TDI 105 hp (3.9 l/100km and 102 g/km in the DSG). For its part, the new 150 hp TDI engine has a consumption of 4.1 l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 106 g/km with manual change (4.4 l/100km and 119 g/km respectively equipped with DSG). In addition, the new golf will have a Bluemotion range .
Golf 7 efficiency and safety
The new golf is lighter than its predecessors (it weighs up to 100 kilograms less), saves up to 23% fuel and emits 13.9% less CO2 with respect to its previous generation, due to systems such as the Start/Stop or the recovery of braking energy, which it incorporates as standard. It highlights the new cylinder deactivation system (ACT), which accompanies the new 1.4 TSI engine of 140 hp and which places consumption in combined cycle in 4.8 liters at 100 km.
The golf incorporates safety systems such as the multiple anti -collisions brake, which is equipped as standard, the proactive protection system for the occupants (Precrash), the adaptive cruise speed control (ACC), which has "Front Assist", and the automatic emergency braking assistant in the city, which avoids collisions by scope.
