The new Nissan GT-R 2013, which goes on sale in Japan on November 19, increases its performance, manageability, behavior and personalization possibilities.
The GT-R 2013 Support, after its participation in the 24 hours of Nürburgring, has introduced new improvements, design evolution and engineering improvements, such as a more rigid body and changes in the specifications of springs, dampers and stabilizer bar. The Premium Edition version will include semi-aniline leather upholstery, an interior in color to choose from and the possibility of customizing the cabin to increase the quality perception of the interior of the car.
The GT-R 2013 will also be available in North America, Europe and, later, in other markets since January 2013.
1. Changes in mechanics
There have been different modifications in the engine:
- Improvement of medium regime and acceleration elasticity at high regime, thanks to the incorporation of new high performance injectors, which allow to control gasoline injection more precisely.
- A hole specially designed to the Turbo Bypass valve relief has been added; This eliminates the rapid decrease in forced injection pressure, which helps maintain acceleration to high regimes.
- With the addition of a special deflector plate inside the oil crankcase, the oil pressure is better stabilized and rotating friction inside the crankcase is reduced, especially in sports driving.
As well as in the chassis:
- Nissan engineers have reduced the center of gravity of the vehicle according to the flexion movement that both suspension and tires perform.
- New specifications for shock absorbers and the front stabilizer bar, where eccentric bolts have been installed to improve wheels and maintain the alignment of adjustments.
- Improvement of reliability in situations of high demand due to the increase in the tightening torque of the transmission tree with the cubes of the bearings.
As for the body, different improvements have been carried out:
- Improvement of stability in driving and management response.
- More reinforcements in two areas of the structural bar of the dashboard and in the area of the instrument panel to improve the suspension performance and the stiffness of the body.
2. Interior
in the Black Edition version The red and black colors combine in the steering wheel to give a greater impression of sportsmanship to the car. The seats will be by default of the recaro carbon bucked type.
In the premium edition the interior is bi-tone in red and black colors to increase the elegance of the cabin next to a customization pack of the interior. In this edition you can opt for semi-aniline skin upholstery with hand-sewn seams.
3. Specifications/Equipment
