The R-Line family that already had among its members to golf, Polo and Scirocco now welcomes the Beetle.
Volkswagen launches the R-Line version of its most emblematic model: Beetle. The R-line finish accentuates the sports characteristics of the Beetle and offers an adrenaline plus at the wheel.
The new Beetle R-Line stands out for mounting the 18-inch "PG Design" alloy wheels combined with 235/45 R18 tires, the roofs in the color of the body next to the chrome molding that is part of the specific R-Line design and the mirrors of the rearview mirrors in the color of the body.
Inside, specific R-Line references are found in the leather multifunction steering wheel and in the moldings of the entrance, which are aluminum. To these elements are added the seats, which have a more sporty image through its sides made in San Remo microfiber, and the central upholstery Kyalami model. Additionally, the Beetle R-Line equips as standard the tire pressure indicator, further increasing its safety and allowing its full potential to exploit.
The R-Line Beetle has two gasoline motorization options and a diesel. The first are TSI 1.4 engines of 160 hp and 2.0 of 200 hp, which can be combined with six -speed manual changes or six or seven speed DSG, respectively. The TDI is the effective and efficient 2.0 of 140 hp, which can also be combined with the two types of gearboxes.
With all the technical and equipment arguments cited, this sports version of the Beetle is postulated as the ideal model for those beetle lovers who seek a design with style and specifically sports behavior with the Volkswagen label.
