The new Volkswagen Golf GTD combines the performance of a sports car with a very small consumption, and impresses with a purest GTI style design. The GTD seventh generation evolutions are in line with the rest of the golf range: the power has increased, but has reduced its consumption by 0.9 liters and improved its emissions in 25 g/km.
Golf GTD engine is a four -cylinder TDI with 184 hp, 14 more than the previous generation, and a motor torque that has grown by 30 Nm until it reaches 380. Thanks to this, the GTD golf has been placed as the most powerful and lower consumption turbodiance. Accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and barely consumes 4.2 liters at 100 km, emitting 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer. This engine is combined with the six -speed manual gearbox and standard with the Start & Stop system. Optionally, you can equip a double clutch DSG gearbox.
The innovative active direct direction (DAS), which makes the direction turn more direct and comfortable when it is maneuver or drives in a curve. The sports chassis has been reduced by 15 mm. For its part, the Optional GTD & Sound package, exclusive to this model, includes the 18 ”Nogaro tires and modulates the sound of the engine according to driving features.
Visually, the Golf GTD appears with its smoked LED rear lights and the self-timing bi-xenon headlights, in addition to the two chrome exhaust pipes. The 17 -inch tires with 225/45 tires, the lateral support of the seats, the diffuser, the sports suspension and the upper wing confer their dynamic image to the car.
The interior is also marked by numerous characteristics of Golf GTD . Next to the sports seats in Tartán “Clark” style, the inner ceiling in anthracite, the sports steering wheel, the stainless steel pedals, the GTD sporting lever, specific GTD insertions and a wide set of elements such as progressive light, the “Climatronic” system, the front and rear Parkpilot and the Radio System “Composition Media” is also located. The serial colors of the body are the "Tornado red" and "pure white."
