After the Paparazis contest, to capture the first photograph of the new Volvo FM , Volvo Trucks now presents the truck in society. Among the new functions that the Volvo FM , an improved driver's cabin and the innovative Dynamic Volvo direction that enhance the first level of the truck.

The improved suspension constitutes another update that helps offer excellent road behavior. The new Volvo FM has also improved its antivuelco stability and includes the I-SEE system, which can reduce diesel consumption by up to 5%.
On the other hand, its reduced weight, its new axis configurations, its greater flexibility in the chassis and its clear interfaces for the bodybuilders allow the customer to customize the truck to adapt it perfectly to each work. In addition, the quality of its components linked to advanced telematic control that allows to supervise various components, makes Volvo Trucks guarantee the owner of the truck the maximum time of activity.
Maximum attention centered in the driver
The interior of the cabin has been designed thinking about the driver. As a result, an effective, safe and ergonomic work environment has been obtained with a greater space for the driver and a greater storage capacity.
Another novelty is the possibility of downloading the new “My Truck” application, which allows the driver to control and supervise some of the functions of the truck.
The new Volvo FM is offered with a complete range of 11 and 13 liter engines that meet the Euro 6 requirements, which will enter into force in early 2014.
Volvo FM will be presented for the first time at the Birmingham Commercial Vehicle Fair in April 2013. Production for European customers will begin in September 2013.
