Bulletin

The new electric partner Peugeot, proposes different motorizations adapted to each use, to reduce the environmental impact and dependence on fossil energies, maintaining the pleasure of conducting.

The new electric partner proposes responsible mobility, without compromising the qualities of the partner: its modularity and a wide volume of load.

The best of electrical technology
The new partner, redesigned in spring 2012, achieves, with its thermal motors, consumption and levels of particularly low CO2 emissions. As of November 2012, a version with emissions of just 118 g/km of CO2 will be available.

Developed on the basis of the partner with thermal motor, the new electric partner brings together the latest technological evolutions linked to this energy:

- A traction chain under the front hood, the electric partner works with the help of two lithium -density lithium -ion batteries packs with a capacity of 22.5 kW/h. Located under the floor, on both sides of the rear axle, they do not affect the behavior of the partner or the dimensions of its load space.

- A compact electric motor of high synchronous type performance with permanent magnets. This engine offers first -order dynamic benefits with a power of 49 kW (67 hp) and a pair of 200 Nm instantly available. Associated with a mono-march reducer with permanent take, it provides a sensation of brio and softness from the start and during all the acceleration phases without the need to make gear changes.

The characteristic silence of electric vehicles completes the pleasure of driving that reigns aboard the electric partner.

- A autonomy of 170 km* in Europe Cycle (NEDC).

- Two loads of its batteries: a normal load (up to 16a) that is completed between 6 to 9 hours and a fast charge (up to 125a) that allows to recharge the battery at 80% of its capacity in just 30 minutes. The normal cargo spat is located on the right front fin of the vehicle while the fast charging is located in the place that the fuel traplate usually occupies, in the left rear fin.

On the other hand, the new electric partner accumulates a set of unpublished benefits between electric vans to achieve optimized use, both at the level of comfort and security:

- An innovative echo-conduction: the very visible presence in the instrumentation of a consumption or energy regeneration indicator permanently helps the driver to adopt a saver driving. An auxiliary consumption indicator (heating and air conditioning) completes the driver's information device. In addition, the on -board computer shows the remaining autonomy and average consumption in KWh.

- A double energy recovery: the electric partner has energy regeneration in deceleration phase, but also in the active braking phase, which allows the kinetic energy to be transformed into electrical energy. In this way, autonomy is preserved in the use phase.

- An efficient thermal comfort: the heating of 100% electric origin, offers a rapid increase in compartment temperature. In addition, it has a “eco-mode” function that allows the cabin ventilation to be maintained without an electrical overconsuming thus preserving the autonomy of the vehicle.

- Electronic Stability Control (ESP) as standard, coupled to the aid to the slope start that places the electric partner as the reference of the safety segment.

The electric partner is a partner

The electric partner will be available in two lengths (L1: 4.38 my L2: 4.63 m), with a useful volume of 3.3 m3 and a useful length of 1.80 m in the L1 and a useful volume of 3.7 m3 and a useful length of 2.05 m in the L2; as well as a payload of up to 685 kg*.

Its multi-flex sidewalk can house three people in front, in addition to increasing the useful volume in another 400 liters. The load capacity thus passes to 3.7 m3 for the L1 with a useful length of 3 mya 4.1 m3 in the L2 with a useful length of 3.25 m.

An offer of specific services

With the launch of the electric partner, Peugeot will propose an offer of services. These services will include: battery available for purchase or for rent, a guarantee of the specific manufacturer in terms of duration and mileage for the battery and the electrical traction system, an adapted assistance, an installation of recharging infrastructure provided thanks to collaboration agreements signed with suppliers in the different countries of Europe.

Peugeot's environmental experience

Peugeot is aware of his responsibility in the control of CO2 emissions and points out his ambition to lead the development of sustainable mobility solutions.

The medium CO2 emissions of the Peugeot models were established at the end of 2011 at 128.6 g/km and in 125.2g/km at the end of May 2012, against 131.6 g/km of 2010, thus passing below the limit of 130 g/km set by the European Commission for 2015.

The environmental policy of the brand goes through:

- The constant optimization of its thermal engines, especially with the development of new generation engines such as the family of three -cylinder gasoline engines of 1.0 and 1.2 liters.

-The “micro-foridation” with the New Generation Stop & Start system e-HDI.

- The "total hybridization" with the Hybrid4 diesel hybrid traction chain available in three Peugeot models.

Peugeot was the first European builder that proposed a range of 100% electric vehicles with 0g/km emissions of CO2: the partner van in the segment of light commercials, the Ion Berlin in that of the cars and the E-Vivacy Scooter.

The new Electrical Partner specifies the collaboration agreement for the development of an electric traction chain adapted to a light commercial vehicle signed with Mitsubishi Motors Corporation in 2010. As the current partner, the new electric partner will be manufactured in the PSA PSATOOT-Citroën de Vigo plant, with the support of the Galicia region.
