Honda has presented the CTX700N and CTX700 in the International Motorcycle Hall in Chicago, the first motorcycles that incorporate the new Honda CTX (technological experience of comfort). The CTX series inherits the style of its star model, the GL1800 motorcycle (Goldwing).

The new CTX concept (technological comfort experience) offers great maneuverability and comfort by placing the low center of gravity. It also makes driving long distances uninterruptedly is less exhausting by reducing vibrations. On the other hand it offers stability in the curves and a device that controls that the cruise speed remains stable. The CTX series has been designed to achieve soft acceleration and that speed and deceleration changes occur with a uniform power.

The first CTX700N and CTX700 are entering the market equipped with a two -cylinder water -refrigerated cylinders and designed for compact models and with a low center of gravity.

When the compact engine is used to the maximum, the CTX700N and CTX700 rely on a wheelbase of 1,530 mm. The stability in the curves is achieved by centralizing the mass by placing heavy components in the center of gravity of the vehicle and optimizing the distribution of front and rear weight. The motor position and the rigidity balance of the frame have also been optimized to reduce the vibration of the body of the vehicle.

For the frame and suspension, the rear of the chassis (seats of the seats) has been redesigned, resulting in a 720 mm high seat height, a height that provides a sense of safety, reinforced by the hardness of the seat material and its optimized shape. The driving position is customizable so that most customers can enjoy driving in an adequate position, according to the wide variety of physionomies that are around the world.

In order for a greater number of customers to save, the models incorporate a more light and compact double clutch transmission, which will be available for both CTX700N , and for the CTX700 . Both motorcycles will also include ABS (brake anti -lock system) as standard.
