Peugeot Sport faces numerous releases and improvements in 2013. This year three variants of “competition” of 208 (208 T16, 208 R2 and 208 Racing Cup) will be marketed, in addition the RCZ Racing Cup will be available for the second consecutive year.
Peugeot 208 T16
Presented at the Paris Motor Show of 2012 and present at the Geneva Motor Show, the 208 T16 continues its test calendar. Within its development phase, it will participate in land and asphalt rallies from the middle of the year. The objective is to accumulate 10,000 kilometers of tests before their approval. According to Regulation R5 of the FIA, 208 T16 will allow winning national and international championships (Rallyes European Championship) to private clients and the equipment of the subsidiaries from 2014. Peugeot 208 R2
on 208 R2 has achieved exceptional commercial success since its first year of launch. So far 74 units have been sold in 16 countries: Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, France, Great Britain, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Holland, Portugal, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland. From this year a 208 Rally Cup championship in France and Belgium will be organized. 208 R2 is on the way to becoming a reference as attesting to the Montecarlo rally where, in its first appearance in private hands, he achieved double in his category.

Peugeot 208 Racing Cup
This “circuit” version of 208 mixes the pleasure of driving with a limited cost. Very similar to the standard car, the 208 Racing Cup dispenses with the comfort elements and is reinforced with the security systems of the competition. It benefits from some of the 208 R2 elements to achieve greater pilot pleasure. Footwear with serial tires to reduce participation expenses, the 208 Racing Cup will be used, from this year, in the "Reconters Peugeot Sport". The goal of 30 cars has already been overcome. As a consequence of this success and taking into account the demand, a new phase of production could be initiated before the end of the year to be able to market more units.

Peugeot Rcz Racing Cup
released last season, the RCZ Racing Cup has declined in two versions: "Sprint" and "Resistance" thanks to an interchangeable kit. In its Sprint version it has reaped successes both in France and Italy, while in its resistance version it has been imposed in the VLN championship, in the 24 hours of Nürbürgring 2012 and in the 12 hours of Bathurst in Australia.
