Volkswagen launches in Spain the 4Motion for the new golf . The permanent total traction system of the new golf is one of the most avant -garde and efficient systems in the world. Volkswagen equips the new version of the 4motion golf with a total traction system that includes a fifth -generation Haldex clutch.

4Motion Total Traction System weighs 1.4 kg less than the previous system, dispenses with the pressure accumulator and reacts with great speed to the different propulsion situations. The result is an increase in security and driving dynamics.

Volkswagen offers the new 4motion golf in Spain with the Sport finish and in combination with the powerful 2.0 TDI of 150 hp. This four-cylinder and injection engine Common-rail has a combined cycle consumption of only 4.7 l/100 km. Like the models with front -wheel drive, the models that equip the total traction 4Motion incorporate the "Start/Stop" system and the braking energy recovery system. Other details of the standard equipment in the Sport version are the EDS on four wheels (electronic differential blocking system on both axes), the electronic limited sliding differential of the front and rear axle XDS, the multiple anti -collision brake, seven airbags, the diurnal driving light, the air conditioner, the electric windows in all the doors, as well as the boarding computer and a TFT tactile screen.
