The NV200 and E-NV200, a new generation compact van, presented for the first time in Japan and Europe in 2009, will be the new official taxi of Barcelona.

The local Coca-Cola subsidiary in Japan will use the Nissan E-NV200 electric van as a sales vehicle in Yokohama. The objective is to evaluate its abilities and its usefulness and compare it with the vehicles that it usually uses with gasoline and diesel. The van will be recharged only during the night, when the consumption of electricity is lower. The tests will determine whether a single night charge is sufficient to respond to daily use.
