About four years ago my Peugeot 406 HDI 2.0 to the official house for an engine failure, which occurs with the cold vehicle and only when a very pronounced slope is raised. After about € 2000 and without any solution since I changed all the injectors and I wanted to change my turbo charging me about € 1000 more without knowing that the failure was the turbo. I made the decision to return to the initial state and return me the € 2000, since all the responsibility fell on me and I think that should not be so. I made the corresponding claim since after about 8 times I had to leave the car more than a month and the car continued with the same failure until they told me about changing the turbo. Finally they returned to me to the initial state (they put the old injectors again) and they returned my money. During these four years the car has continued to make this failure in a very sporadic way (less than 20 times) and only when a slope goes up with the freshly lit engine. At two or three starts after the motor failure notice is eliminated and everything is perfect until the next fault. It seems a pressure failure since it only occurs when I upload a steep slope and with the cold engine. And the strange thing is that the motor failure disappears at the few starts.

Question: Someone knows which sensor that can indicate that failure, since as I have told you in the house they told me that the computer did not indicate where the error occurred even though the car took him with the light of the motor failure on.

I have questioned that it is a failure of the valves or the rocker, since when the engine is hot it goes great and it costs the rise without indicating any problem. It can be a bad adjustment of valves or rocker wear? Is there any sensor in the rocker cover that can detect this failure?

Hi, did they look at the refigrant temperature sensor? It is a NTC that regulates in temperature function

Not the engine never heats up the temperature. The temperature sensor influences when a slope uploads? I have never raised it. I already tell you that it is very rare that happens and vote more for a pressure failure since when the engine is hot it never gives the failure. In four years he has only given it less than 20 times.

But if it were of this, I would be wrong at the start, what you say is as if it measured the entrance of the air, then caudalimetro, or MAP, but I do not find the relationship with the temperature to this? To know how to tell you, I would need to know what model is the car, which bomb wears, ect .. greetings
