Motor-Mencanica Motor Loss
Hello everyone! I have a Fiat Siena 1.3 Year 98.
I will present two problems that may have a relationship with each other.
The first is that a fault is recently presented, which made the engine lose strength and turn off, if it turned on again, it barely kept on. However, after half an hour, trying to enclose it, I made it without problems and underway it worked well. The injectors had a service a month ago and the gas filter was changed a month ago. The pressure pump pressure was reviewed and is normal. A Scaner was applied to the computer and all the sensors marked well. Maybe everything indicates well since the failure has been export.

The second problem happens just after the revision, in the morning and with a slight heating the car is colored. Minutes then the engine makes a mild explosion noise and throws a little blue smoke due to the escape, followed by the loss of strength and barely keeps lighting. Testing with the spark plug cables, it can be detected that there are two pistons that are not working, and I presume that it can be problems with the valves or stamps that keep the fur from the Ignition camera away. I would like to know the oppression of some mechanic about these symptoms, if I am right in my presumption of the recent failure and if so, what are the possible causes of the problem when the valves fail.

Note: The recent failure is the second time it happens to me in six months.

I appreciate the advice you can give me !!

Eblancoeb The two cylinders that fail you throw spark? When you disconnect them, if your vehicle works with two cylinders, it will not be layers of keeping and due to the same hobby cause, almost at the end of not walking anything, now if you measure the compression of the cylinders you can determine if there is a problem of compretion in the cylinders, since the loss of this ocion To say the car fails but it is without major difficulty unless they are bent and this only occurs when the teeth of the distribution strap are skipped, but you will give you how much if this occurs since the vehicle makes a frightful noise, I believe that your problem can be because of the DIS coil that these beicles bring, the two cylinders that you fail are the ones that work together, that is, that is the 1 and 4, or the 3? Cheke the spark in these first if it is fine and the spark plugs the same, check the comprehensive notaver and this result and we will continue to help you.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Motor force loss
Thanks friend .. truthful, the cylinders that are not working apparently are 2 and 3. The test you perform to know which silhindros are not working was disconnecting the spark plug cable. The same leaving it near the spark plug the electric arches is shed. I do not know if this current will be enough for the spark plug to generate the spark inside the cylinder. On the other hand, the disconnected test also relates the repective injector cable, which yields the same result, there are no changes in the motor.

A general MTTO was carried out for about 3 months, where the compression of the pistons was monitored in the workshop and was good. This test would be done again under this fault and verify what you recommend. Today at noon (Venezuela time) a local mechanic will attend me with this test.

Regarding the teeth of the distribution strap, I imagine that this could happen when the failure in the injection and motor system is presented, as if asking for gasoline while losing strength. Is this possible ??

Thanks for your help!

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Motor force loss
Hello again .. already perform the suggested tests. It was effectively determined that the coils and spark plugs are fine. since they exchanged with those of the pistons that work.

The same method was applied to injectors. It is necessary to lower the camera to know exactly the level of damage in the valves and packaging. The local mechanic ensures that the biggest cause of this problem is the overheating that the engine suffers.

Once the camera is uncovered, it will be observed if there is a need for any rectification or it is only due packages or seals.

If someone has another opponent or suggestion, I would appreciate it very much.

I will keep them aware of my case.

Thanks and greetings !!

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Motor force loss
Hello ABLANCOB, make sure that it is not the coil, a question:
the coil is from the model that has two primary? The fault should be fucking one of these and 2 cylinders work well (1-4) and two others fail (such as your case 2-3).
Generally the failures in the coil are usually permanent or appears when the temperature of it rises.
Also if you make you a mild explosion, this is due to the failure of the light (spark) that can be for the coil.
If you have the ease that someone lends you a coil like the one you have, please try it, because they are common failures in these engines. I spend on a 1.6 corsa and I have a couple more cases to comment.
Greetings and comment on the results.
