Ford Explorer Loming Failure Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello colleagues. I need if someone can help me. I have a Ford Explorer V6 Mod 95 Naftera.
The problem is that I do not get current to the spark plug cables of the medium cylinders. I change the coil, try another module and nothing comes very little spark, so little is working in 4 cylinders. I look forward to an hug Julio

It is strange what you say, you have little current in the cables or in the coil?, try to change the wishes are defective since they pass very serca from the escapes

They change them, also the coil, does not come out of the coil to those two cables that work together, I do not know if you know that the coil has 3 connectors each connector manages current for each pair of cylinders, to those are sorrows it reaches high tension current to the spark plugs, to the point that they do not work and walks in 4 cylinders.

Do you have a computerized injection system? or is it with distributor? Because that model in that year has two versions, if those three cables of which you speak came to come or the magnet captor or the flow, follow the cables at some point to be making a false land or be cut somewhere, it is clearly electric what you have, you have to investigate where they come from and that they are not cut or peeled at some point, I do not think it is any type of sensor since the check is not

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Ford Explorer Failure
Thank you for your answer, I tell you that it is multipoint injection, the problem must be the one you say, surely it is a cable, the problem is "which" the ECU takes to a technician and told me that it has nothing and that the ignition is not handled by ECU only the progress. Do not turn on any chek light just does not take high tension in two spark plug cables that work together do you understand what I mean? I do not have the circuit where the primary cables of the coil come.
He has a module in front of the radiator, I think that is the tension elevator or ignition module but fuces because he probes with another and this I think it cannot be because it is the same for all cylinders at least I think it is so.
If you have the possibility of having any circuit or finding out how you work, you would like to report it. A hug and thanks again
