Greetings friends, I have a consultation/problem about a Volkswagen Golf 2.0 LTS 2006 vehicle, this vehicle does not accelerate more than 1500 rpm, I put the scanner and gave me 3 fault codes 17976, 17987, 17953, my scanner is a launch x431 diagnted and I detect the vag codes and its definition in Codes obd II ..
code 17976-P1568: Butterfly control unit -J338- Mechanical Aver.
Code 17987-P1579: Adactation not initiated from accelerator valve control -J338-.
Code 17953-P1545: Defective butterfly valve control.

It will be that the problem is in the electronic acceleration body, the acceleration body will be badly calibrated, the owner says that he previously checked the same failure but without result, I removed the acceleration body and did cleaning but the problem continues, I would appreciate any help to this problem.

I think the punctual problem is the butterfly body that is defective and does not allow a greater acceleration, tries the reprogramming with the launch and if it does not go, change it.

Greetings ... It seems that your problem is due to the fact that the TP (butterfly) cable was disconnected and therefore it is deprogram or loses the "apprentice" and ignites the board EPC on the board that mean electronic power control;
You have to read codes with a scanner and erase them either with vag-com or also with a CJ4 ..... bye
