Voltage regulator connection published by Manual-Mecanica
Who can give me a hand about how to connect a regulator to the alternator and others ... The brand of the Torycoll regulator and has the initials IASF in the housing, the alternator has a file and type a threaded rink that I suppose is the +...

Thank you so much

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Voltage Regulator Connection
IASF

I INDICATOR LAMP Esalinea goes to the dashboard pilot (positive but through the bulb that indicated)

to amperimeter that terminal goes to 12 v of Ignition

S stator that terminal goes to the alternator's exit of the alternator. It corresponds to the departure of the tridiod that is a terminal of the alternator of the alternator to define which one is, it is some times marked with s

f field, that is, the terminal is the terminal is the thermal dedicated for the alternator in the alternator and that sometimes is marked as F, that terminal that goes to the field of the alternator through a broom load or not loading the alternator

Greetings, so you can see the alternator only has two connections the screw with nut is positive of battery (+) and the terminal that says Campo goes to the regulator F terminal. Now Terminal A del Regulaoro goes to (+) of battery, if your car has amperimeter as a load indicator, the regulator terminal is current (+) Swichs (Ingnition) fixes the ground regulator well (mass) Jala serves you

Hello to all the forists, I am a mechanic student. You can include one diagram of how to connect an amperimeter to visualize whether or not the alternator load. Thanks

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Voltage Regulator Connection
You are right "Apollo 11", I only have two terminals in the alternator, I go again to see if I am clear, because the truth is that in mechanics I give myself fierce but in the electrical part I am in the oven:
the I of the regulator is going to + passing through the luminous witness on the board.
The A VA to the battery
The S goes to + of the ignition key (having ammeter as an indicator on the board)
the F goes to the alternator where "field" says
to make the connection of the screw + of the alternator to the battery, a cable of which diameter I can use, since I understand that it must be half gross?
Another thing I have read investigating a little, is that if the luminous witness is not connected the battery does not load, can this be true?
I am really putting it together, it is a Peugeot 504 Mod 76, and I have parts of the board everywhere, in principle I would be interested in being able to connect a basic battery charge circuit with what I have (previous images) to be able to walk it while since the mechanics is ready.
Thank you very much for your time
