Ford Explorer Sport 2001 sensor failure published by Manual-Mecanica
I have a 2001 Ford Explorer and the La Luz de Check Engenier is activated on the board. He made a scanner and the following codes appeared:
P0133 O2 Circuit Sensor Slow Response Bank 1 Sensor 1
P0135 O2 Heater sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1
P1130 LACK OF HO2S11 SWITCH - FUEL TRIM AT LIMIT
P1131 LACK OF HO2S11 SWITCH -
SEM INDICATES LEAN P1132 LACK OF HO2S13
P0171 System Too Lean Bank 1
P0174 System Too Lean Bank 2
P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire Deteced
P0303 Cylinder 3 Misfire Detect Someone

can help me interpret these codes and how to correct them. The car has minimal acceleration failure and the exhaust vapors have a very strong smell

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Ford Explorer Sport 2001 Sensor Failure
Friend
apparently seems to have disconnected many sensors to the vehicle.
As a first measure you can do a erase of codes with the scanner, if you register only oxygen sensor again, check the circuit if you do not find any faults in the circuit changes the oxygen sensor, maybe I already finish its useful life.
Agree that the oxygen sesor test must range between 0 and 1 usually volt the oscillations give you in MV.

I hope it helps you to

Greetings and in my opinion you have failures in 2 cylinders. This acacas that the oxygen sensors readings are erratic is starting by deleting the fault codes and then it is checked, the most prove that the cylinder failure can be

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Ford Explorer Sport 2001 Sensor Failure
Friends Heraldo and Marvarg, thanks for your prompt response and support. Indeed, perform a scanner and the sensor 1 of Bank #1 was giving value of 0.16mv and sensor #2 was giving 0.6mv, that same day we erased the codes but I already locked me again the light of Check Engineer on the board. I will make the scanner again to see what codes he gives me. I also plan to check the spark plugs because the cables are completely new and the mechanic does not check the spark plugs when it made the change. As for the empty hose, which could the problem be caused? From the oxygen sensor with the bad heater, the sensor should be changed or only the heater is changed?

The sensor is with incorporated heater is a single sensor, you checked the status of the Catalitics also affect and throw you failures of Czech oxygen sensor that are working, and clean generate a against precion that deceives the oxygen sensor.
