Renault Megane published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings,

thanks in advance for answering.

I have a case with Renault Megane.
The ignition throughout the day is excellent, however only in the mornings in their first ignition, the revolutions range for approximately 3 minutes, after there during the whole day that no longer happens again so it will be allowed to cool from morning to the afternoon.

I ask for your opinion with the possible solutions.

In the Scaner it shows no failure.

Hello, it seems to be the problem of step by step, it regulates the air inlet and more temperature changes the air volume when you leave it regulating. A possible proof is obviously changing it, another is disconnecting, but I don't know if it brings you problems in the ECU. Ah another test would be obtaining the air duct of the step by step to inhibit its function without disconnecting it, just to see what happens, if the problem is solved or limpial

Thanks for your contribution

I will do the test to disconnect it, however the question I continue to ask me is and why only at the moment of cold ignition in the morning and then do not present the oscillation again.

My opinion is this, in the cold engine, the volume of air that leaves the motor step by step is different from the one that flows when the engine is at more temperature (to maintain the same revolutions) then in cold the PAP works in another pot that hot and in that position it must be slow, so the oscillations, the ECU orders it open and close and create a hysteresis that makes the engine oscillate. Eye, it has happened to me not in a megane if not in a Fiat, but I think the principle of operation is the same.

hello.
The IAC valve is responsible for controlling the engine of the engine in cold and hot motor conditions receiving signals sent from the water temperature sensor and the admission air pressure sensor MAP or MAF as the vehicle corresponds.
Most likely that this valve is dirty or the injection body obtained, so the first thing is to perform a good cleaning and tell us.
luck...
