Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: EGR valve can be removed
For what I understand, and according to the operation of my car, the EGR valve only opens or closes, but the switchboard controls the gases that it has to recirculate with a butterfly that carries in the admission multiple controlled by a step by step, but the switchboard calculates the amount of "smoke" that the engine swallows because when the valve opens and the butterfly closes, there is an empty, there is an empty one that forces it to enter. But, as the switchboard as it is not dumb knows that the more smoke enters, the less air enters, and as the flow rate measures the amount of air admitted if only the nozzle the smoke, the valve opens, the same amount of air enters because the smoke ta cover and there we have the blissful electrical failure. But the switchboard is not so ready to know if through the EGR it passes smoke or air, the cunning enters, you have to cover the smoke and let the EGR open between clean air. To do this I made an aluminum piece that lets fresh air suck, that to be fine you have to take it after the air filter, but before the flow rate, so that it does not measure it. I only get error if I have a short and high round march, so I deduce that little air audal is entering through the EGR. When I evolve a little more I tell you.
