Yes, there are electronic modulas that connect between the caudalimetro of the car, connector of the EGR and the PAP engine that carry some cars the gas butterfly, and you can annul you that you do not have error in the switchboard. Another way is to experimenting in an Astra Cdti 150, and I have almost achieved it, it is to make a metal piece that clips the exhaust gases, but it takes clean air when the EGR opens, I have it like that and it does not give error in the painting.

I had thought that but I don't know if I would give any problem or error.

How everything is controlled by the ECU.
