Renault 11 ignition problem published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings friends of mechanics manuals The consultation that I approach today is related to the my renault ignition system it consists of an e -ignition module Rendix, with a feeding port from the ignition key and a port for the connector of the magnetic sensor of the steering wheel or coil, on top of the module the force coil of the dried type is coupled. The matter is already reviewing voltages present at the entrance of the ignition port in the terminals of the coil, all ok. The module ground connections, the sensor accommodation all OK. It is clean and with a distance from the appropriate disk, battery or accumulator with good load but there is no spark the starter engine the donkey moves but since there is no spark, I request your help and consideration beforehand thank you, thank you, I don't know what else to check ....... your serbvidor David says goodbye

Manual-Mecanica response on the problem with renault 11 on
Let's start from the beginning of the crankshaft or camshaft, take a signal of 0 to 5 volts when it moves <-If you put the voltimeter and give it to start it gets a little crazy, better to try oscilloscope.

Next module <- the machine that is to try them I do not like it because it fails, way of trying it (if everything else is fine is the guilt of the module).

coil among its terminals there must be cantinuity.

cables and spark plugs <- That they fail 3 ok but the four broken at the same time very rare would be.

CONCLUSION: If you do not have a peeled cable that is following dough and you are lying the thing <-Tester in continuity and check them. It may be the module.

I do not tell you anything about Delco because I think the system you describe is a disc 4 coils.

But Delco is also easy to see if a positive 12 volts and a test tip are going when it turns lights the terminal bulb that clicks.

Manual-Mecanica response on the problem with renault 11 on
Good afternoon, for what I am reading you have already reviewed everything both arrival of current and exit.
Do you get the distributor's high coil current?
Is it possible that you have any kind of coil disconnector?
Does the distributor turn?

Manual-Mecanica response on the problem with renault 11 on
As the fellow Igryo says, I also sent the module to the fart, but in R 11, I do not know if it has a hall sensor in Delco, if so, this also fails in the signal and does not order the module, it can be checked by putting an LED and turning the engine, I think that between the terminal and mass,

Thank you very much for your comments, your response was quick The magnetic sensor is located next to the crankshaft motor steering wheel, it is almost a teeth account, I do not have an oceiloscope at hand, but the closest thing I used was an analog volimeter, inserting the tips of this in each cable pin and giving pulses to the wip end verified by the movement of the needle, I already tried another new module and another Working and nothing, I have no sparks on the connector of the high coil outlet. It seems to be another problem that I do not fall into account practically that is the entire ignition system but that detail of connections deriving to mass does not place myself very well with the description you help me a little more as which cable could be? thank you
