Fiat seicant gasoline pump. Posted by manual-mecanica
Hello everyone. Well, it turns out that the other day I stayed without gasoline with the Fiat, and after reproducing there is no way to start it. I have filled the deposit, I have aspirated the liquid manually of the feeding tube that goes to the injection, I have started by pulling gasoline through the air filter entrance and starts until it runs out ... They can indicate how the cirduito is primed. Does the gas pump are electrical or mechanical? Is it on the fuel deposit?

Thank you so much.
Xavi

If the gasoline pump is in gas deposit site you were left without gasoline, the safest thing is that the pump replacement has been burned
there are cars that have the pump removing the rear seat and a plastic or rubber lid can be taken out but before to be safe, get a manometo and check if you have a pressure indicated is 40 to 55 psi
checlo and I hope this is helpful to help but I do not help this. Start some blows to the tank to take off the pump and it may be that way and you could be sure that it is your pump

Hello, as Pasasol indicates the gasoline pump is on the deposit. Another way to check if the pump works is to lift the rear seat sidewalk and disassemble the protective plastic, put their hand on the pump and someone to contact, at that time the pump must move to send pressure to the feeding circuit, if you do not notice anything is that the pump has effectively gone due to lack of fuel.
I had a similar problem in my GSI, due to lack of fuel, a ball carries in the pump bucket, fill the deposit to the maximum and managed to start it.
I hope it is useful to you: Cheer:
