Remove Wooden Springs Mercedes C220

Hello,
I have a Mercedes C220 Diesel of the year 95 that has a problem possibly of false contact in the control that regulates the air conditioning fan speed and that is located in the central console of the dashboard. My problem is that I do not know how I can remove this command since the console is covered with wood and I don't know how to remove it.
