Renault Clio 1.2 16v Fan problems published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I have a Renault Clio 1.2 16 valves with air conditioning, of the year 2001 and it was perfect, but one day it was heated too much or a little more than normal and it seemed strange to me, and when I had the low water I thought it had run out of water and wherever I could see air in the air I got the manual of Renault Clio, then the fan It could be a leak and lost the water and that is why it was heated, but one day it was heated too much and looked at the water and was at its level, if I suppose the problem is my fan that does not start up, I have already been with the engine in progress until the Coxe has taken sufficient temperature and it is not enough, I have no idea how to access the thermostat Help I would thank you, I've been going around them for a few days and I don't know where to take it.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Renault Clio 1.2 16v Fan Problems
Look if the fan does not start the first thing you have to do is try it to see if it is not broken, this is simple to pass direct current to the fan this is done with two cables a positive and a negative from the battery to the fan, once you buy its functioning you check the rest you do not change or take out things before, the thermostat is simple touches the upper hose of the radiator and then the lower one must be at a similar temperature. Not a cold and a hot, after a while walking logically so that the thermostat opens this curls when the needle of your watch is more or less in the middle, check the fuses because one can be burned, if everything goes well, the thermostat is going well to see if the electros leaves, any questions consult us.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Renault Clio 1.2 16v Fan Problems
Thank you very much, today try the fan with the cables and if it worked, try the thermostat, and if at first the upper mangitus of the hot radiator was The first thing I saw were the fuses, but I did not look good, today I looked at more careful and I realized that there were two fuses with the radiator's drawing, I changed it, although apparently it was fine, the fan has finally put on the fan in progress, I think it was the fuse, on the other hand I wanted to ask you a couple of things:
1- The grounds is inside the radiator, right? Is it a piece that has a resistance right?
like a dock and like a kind of fuse in the same piece?
2- I think that the car is more difficult to get the fan, I mean that the needle is heated or uploaded more than before, this may be due to the warm that he fuck?
Thank you very much for your advice, you have solved the problem.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Renault Clio 1.2 16v Fan Problems
First I am glad to solve your problem, second reindeers work with the temperature a little by the 90 degrees, this can be barge according to the bulb that you put, now with respect to your questions, the thermostat does not go in the radiator, it goes in the Water couple Outside you disarm to see it, in the radiator goes the temperature bulb and this if it works as a thermal resistance, it is graduated in celodious degrees and according to the degrees is when the fan committed to work if you wish you can put a lower temperature one so that the electro starts before, and the needle does not supply so much, the warm warm and it is not difficult to change the thermostats, just look that the one who compres opens to the same tenperature as the one you have and that it is a good brand at the end will save Dienro.
