Volvo S70 Volvo Climatizer Problems Published by Manual-Mecanica
Who can help me?

I have a 1998 Volvo S70 that is perfect except that lately the air conditioner (bizona) presents the following problem:

left and central left outputs give hot air although outside the car we are at 22 degrees, even if it regulates the temperature in the control at 21 or 20 degrees and does not come into operation in an auto mode to compensate when there is much difference between the indicated temperature and the

real Right correctly run.

I have changed control of the air conditioner and the problem is maintained.

How do you see it ???

Look, the first thing I would do first of all, is to check the level of the refrigerant fluid of the A/CO in its absence the gas according to the system, in general when they begin to cool or heat the vehicles, (we talk about air) they usually do it from left to right or from right to left according to left in a post, check the levels is not expensive, you will also route. If it uses you something.

Indeed, it may be a lack of gas or refrigerant 134a is used in 1993 models onwards when it emphasizes to load them with refrigerant in models empieso to cool from right to left or inverse left this is because of the design of the ventilation, having the right load you have a uniform cold ventilation.

It could also be, in some cars you have a dibidid ventilation, the pilot can go with cold air, the companion with heating has two motorcites to perform this function, perhaps the engine that moves the gate for the left and left central windy does not see its full route when putting the automatic and the warm air comes out of course if you have divided ventilation. Refrigerant
It turns out that gates are plastic over the years are scarce or break or lose their lining and do not seal correctly.
An easy way to discard the refrigerant is to turn on the car connect the A/C Put the recirculation, the ventilation to the maximum and wait 5 minutes then in the compressor or in the evaporator which is easier to you you will see two tubes or handles the thickest is the low pressure this must be very cold in the touch.

I clarify that the model of your car does not have to repair them, so it is general information anything here we are stick that you like: Woohoo:
