Address arm published by Manual-Mecanica
Greetings for everyone, I have a small problem with the arm of the direction that comes out of the box, this is the one that provides the turn to the wheels, in the photo (it is not mine), I have marked what I cannot release in any way, I have tried with a nail bar, with an extractor to hammer but it does not come out. The last thing I can think of is heating the piece with a plumbing torch, does anyone know if this can lead to any problem? Has anyone ever met this? Any other solution?

Thanks and greetings for everyone.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Address arm
If you warm it, you can damage the oil retain if it is hydraulic if it is mechanical do it carefully because you can damage the axis or take a turner and take it out.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Address arm
Apart from the above, when you heat a metal it loses its physical characteristics. It is likely that then some piece will be built and if it is from the address, because you can already imagine the consequences. If you cannot finally take the piece and or in a workshop they can, it is better to change everything.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Address arm
Well, after giving things many times and trying almost everything to release this, I can say that the correct shape is with a good hammer, it is necessary to hit around the arm to release, with an extractor it also comes out, but nobody saves you to use the hammer.

Greetings for everyone and thanks.
