ROVER BOBINA BOOK PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
Hello friends, I am having problems with a rover which has a pulse in the injectors but has no spark. Moreover, the coil heats too much and when controlling the food of it comes the tension of the battery and in the permanently negative pulse and I think that is why it does not generate spark and heat the coil, I would appreciate if someone could guide me.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the ROVER burning
Hello, you do not say what year is the rover, but usually it is a CKP sensor (crankshaft position sensor) carries the spark signal to the computer (CPU) and from this the signal comes out towards the ignition coil, check the circuit s involved, most likely it is in a negative cut.
greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the ROVER burning
You have the checks that Marcorvett points, if that is correct what can be checked is the coil, these are usually heated above all if the contact is ignored (on the dashboard lights on), it should not be heated in excess, it is appropriate to perform a component test by reviewing with multitester the resistance of the primary coil 0.6 ohm and secondary Chevy Corsa, but should walk close to these values.
The coils are also heated when the wiring and /or spark plugs have too much resistance, this makes the primary load time rise and generate temperature.
Test with spark plugs without resistance something like Champion 9yc, but first check how the CKP says in the beginning.
Luck

Thank you for answering, I have done what you told me, but my question is because I have permanently negative? I disconnect the ECU and there is no land therefore there is no short in the wiring so I have come to the conclusion that the problem is the ECU, if you have another idea I would appreciate it, the rover is 99 416 yes.
