Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problem with Ford Focus of 2002
Fer contribution is good but it does not work for your model, in Focus of 20004 the system is very different.
The cables that I tell you are the two that it carries from Can-Bus, are two cables that are intertwined with each other and are usually green and brown respectively.

All the best.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Problem with Ford Focus of 2002
Apparently the focus is from 2000, I have disassembled the radiocaset and there are 2 loose connectors, each with 3 cables, and each cable is bicolor, I have placed the resistance between 2 cables that were brown and green with other colors since the others had none of these 2 colors. The problem is that the failure does not always manifest, sometimes it goes out when starting, sometimes when you are walking a while and identically it can go. Of course, the same is always repeated, needles down suddenly and lowering, lighting motor and digital display does not mark.
Hopefully the reistence is well placed and solved like this.
Thank you so much

I have opened it and the cables are bicolors and there are 6. I have put the resistance between 2 that carried the green and the brown but it is not solved.

Good partner.

The resistance does not use PQ is the previous model of Focus that you had told me.
In this vehicle the radio has a 7-way connector, the black-orange wire that goes in pin 5, you have to cancel it since it is the cable that carries the speed information from the GEM module.

All the best.

And how do you annul? There are 2 different connectors. The cables are without connecting anywhere.
Each connector has 3 bicolors.
According to you, one of those cables is black-orange?
As the annulment.
Thank you very much for answering so quickly
