The idea Pauloai proposes is not bad, the problem is that Vag uses Bowden cables in the doors (such as bicycle brake cables) and is very difficult to say almost impossible to pull them to open.
If it were another manufacturer, to wear steel rods, (Opel or Renault for example) then it would be much easier to open with the rod.
