MEGANE ASSISTED ADDRESS PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
Hello everyone, I have a problem with the assisted hydraulic direction of my megane, when the engine is reliable the direction is very hard and so that it is softer you have to climb the engine, the doubt I have is that I do not know if it is of the pump or of the control valves of the zipper, I have checked the level of liquid and is at the maximum level.

thank you.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the topic assisted direction megane
Hi Fofernno, it would be good that you say what year is the car, but to give a guidance you would have to see if the pump is dragged by the belt when it goes to the idle, I already found a megane of the 99 that gave problems in the sense that the damper (or drag pulley that goes to the crankshaft) had taken off the rub of the rubber of this I in the end I ended up. As an important fact that the rupture of this pulley came in the root of the "free" pulley of the alternator, which caused a cumulus of problems that ended up changing these two pulleys. (The bomb disassembles it and was perfect with more than 280 thousand km ...) that there is luck !!

Hi Ismael, the car is from the year 88 I do not believe that the Poblema is with the tanSMISSION of the El crankshaft pulley belt since it moves the water pump alternator, hydraulic assisted steering pump and air conditioner compressor and I have no problem with this just by turning the steering wheel with the engine to relisimo rpm v The steering wheel can already move well. The doubt is whether it is of the pump or of the regulatory valves of the steering zipper. The newspapers have already been checked and are fine.
Greetings and thanks again.

In the case that I saw, the strap moved everything ... but when the steering wheel turned and make the address work; There I was no longer dragged, I realized marking the pulley with a white marker from the center out (painting it a radio) was that when the steering wheel turned later the brand no longer coincides and I could see the duel rubber on the pulley. If you say that your case is not this, it may be that the pump has spent palettes or dirt in the circuit. Open the pump (Delphi was the case) are three screws. Well; You will tell us that you saw Foferno. Greetings!!
