Help with Chevrolet Luv 2.3 Year 95 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I tell you, I have a problem with my Chevrolet Luv 2.3 year 95
they made a complete motor adjustment, drawing the engine from the chassis. And at the time of connecting the electrical connections, it does not start.
The problem is that the coil spark is not spark, which is on the valve cover (a connector and an output to the distributor).
Hize Measurements with a Tester to the coil and the problem apparently is that it does not come negative.
1. Does this truck have CKP?: HUH:
2. Is I ignition modulus on the computer? since medium continuity of the coil connector to the computer connector and gives me continuity with two pins of the connector.
3. Does anyone have the electric schemes of this truck model?

I hope you guide me better since I am just entering the world of electricity and electronics.

Thank you very much and greetings friends:lol:

Friend keep in mind that all injection vehicles have a CKP´el sensor which is in charge of verifying the position of the crankshaft to send the spark to the pistons is usually located by the lower part of the engine verifies at the height of the crankshaft and by its surroundings, seeing your problem this may be the cause of not spark at any time.

The distributor of that truck is simple the big problem is the draft of that distributor because it is half cumbersome, anyway, the set -up, and determine by means of a diode if the cut -cut signal to the coil from the CKP is louds, the coil has to be with a positive current the negative signal is what the CKP sends. Check that first.

Friend, this vehicle if it has CKP but it is optical type that produces a hall effect signal this is in the distributor, the distributor has 4 pins named with letters A, B, CYD from left to right.
The A is GND (Earth) The B is positive The C is signal output to the ECM and the D is another signal output to the ECM.
It also has 3 pins ignition module listed as 1, 2, and 3 the 1 is a positive significant signal (12V square signal) that the ECM is sent, PIN 2 is ECM Earth and PIN 3 is extended signal output to the ignition coil.
