Hello friends; I have a Ford Explorer 1999 Motor 4.0 Simple type, 6 cylinders, synchronous. Rodando came a fault that seemed to be burned spark plug; It was reviewed and the fault is in the adjacent cylinders 2 and 3 of the right side, to the point that even changing the order of the spark plug cables the fault remains the same (it should make explosions). Coil, cables, spark plugs ... was changed ... compression was measured to see if it was a burned chamber and compression leakage and nothing because the pressure is fine in all 6 cylinders. I disconnected the battery and reconnecting it the fault increased to what it was in the beginning but soon the computer tried to compensate for the fault, which feels a lot on low, and presents a somewhat lower failure. They tell me now that it could be intake valves, but I dare not review without the expert opinion of this forum. Thank you so much !!
