Ford Focus 1.6 16V Year 99 Published by Manual-Mecanica
Hi, I am Garmin, for a long time I am added to this page, and so far I have been repairing my car without difficulty I stop the years for the cars they do not pass in Valde
a problem in the car has emerged
for a few days when accelerating the car I started late and it seemed to stay in three cylinders.
The first action was to change the spark plug cables, the same
act followed by leaving me an ultrasound cleaner, clean the injectors, to improved
and now the decision is to create the butterfly sensor or change the distributor
if by chance something similar was past you, I would appreciate some wisdom

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Ford Focus 1.6 16V year 99
Hi Garmin, if you say what it is to accelerate, because it can be several things: -Revies the butterfly sensor (if it is potentiometer), it measures resistance in several positions before changing it.-The flow rate can be measuring badly if you already have km.-The pressure regulator in ramp, if it is excessive, or it is very low, check that it is within values.-The ignition module (if intermittent Lightning coil) .- Check the distributor cover measuring continuity in all poles and seeing wear. Always check if you can, before changing pieces, you will save "money and time." (But this is only advice); Well, I hope that with what has been said, it can help you more to help the breakdown. Greetings !!

It has happened to me with those cars that a coil is broken and a cylinder fails but only when you revolutionize.

I don't know if the 99 model has the 4 compact coils that I say.

Garmin, I advise that if you like to repair your car you try to find a workshop that only scan the car and you of the stored fault codes, have or not, so you can take a discourse if you change or not any sensor and you will only pay the scan to the mechanic and if it does not have codes then you tell us to continue supporting you.
