Galloper II radiator published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello. I recently bought a Galloper II 2.5 Diesel (1198) on motor matters looks pretty good (you have to tighten all that yes) when I opened the water level, I found a swamp. Obviously the previous owner filled him with common water, I want to change it for coolant, but I have not managed to find the famous radiator key, to be able to empty it, could someone tell me where he is?
What mechanical failures could my new acquisition present in the short term? Should something specifically review?

Greetings.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Radiator Galloper II
Hello Juanba, to empty it, remove the sleeve of the lower part of the radiator, the key, I do not know which you mean, maybe they refer to the habitaculus heating, put this in the maximum heat position, so that this part of the circuit also empties and put a hose if you can for one of the sleeves of the heating radiator and you will see all the shit sleeve where empty .. greetings

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Radiator Galloper II
Hello Juanba! As the fellow Ismael53 says, the most effective to empty the refrigerant circuit is to remove the sleeve from the lower part of the radiator.
I imagine that what you mean with "radiator key", is the emptying tap that some radiators carry in the lowest part, normally in a corner.
Apart from what ismael53 advises you, I am also in favor of cleaning the circuit with specific cleaners that sell in any spare store, but will be "impossible" to remove all dirt.
As for mechanical problems, they are not vehicles that give a lot of war but above all review levels and valvulin status (differential, change and transfer) and I think I remember that it carries a distribution belt.

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Radiator Galloper II
Well they already told you that you must sacred the wagum and that is all good, but do not put it culan or antifreeze unless you live in a very low temperatures zone, because the ass are no more and I know them like the anti, I repeat it not anti, only distilled water.
