SUPERALLIMENTACION RENAULT CLIO PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MANICA
Hello everyone!!!

I have been on this page for a long time and I would like to congratulate you all over the dedication and effort of the page and have the workshop manuals hung.

I raise my "problem" and have if you can all put a cable among everyone;

I have a Renault Clio Phase I of the year 94 1.9 atmospheric D with 65 hp type of F8Q engine.

I understand that the R19 mounted two 65 hp diesel engines (atmospheric) and another 90 hp turbo the two are F8Q engine.

I have lowered the R19 workshop manual to compare compression ratio, injection pump, pistons, rod etc and everything that affects a turbo system to know if it was possible to attach it to the F8Q engine of the Clio, but the manual lacks such information.

In workshops where I have worked I have seen cars that came out atmospheric (diesel) and then they had been coupled with a turbo (as well as the Astra, Orion, Nissan pick-ups ...)

my question is;
-As of you know where I can find this information?

or any spare parts or place page that continue to sell these kits to overcome atmospheric engines?

- At ITV level, what problems does it bring? Or the kits are already prepared to be able to homologate them?

The engine has 7000 km. Since I recently made a rectified cylinder head joint and butt, with change of distribution strap, filters, oil, etc. due to a reheating. The pistons and shirts were in good condition and I did not change them and I already thought about superchanding it, so I decided to wait.
If someone could help me I would be very grateful.

I thank you for the answers and your time.

Greetings

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the RE: supercharging Renault Clio
Friend, here in Chile if you modify the engines you must homologate them in the Labor Inspection, just that they do not ask you more only to legalize it, now I have mounted turbos in several vehicles that do not bring them as a factory, I have had problems in some and in others nothing at all, in which I had problems is that the valves and the pistons have been burned, this because of the material of them since they are not reinforced, but in oil Problems since they do not bite them like the beans, well of all these turbos none corresponds to the model where one that was one that was from a first Nissan, with this I tell you that you can install any turbo, only that it is more laborious.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the RE: supercharging Renault Clio
The problem is not because of the turbo that can be adapted because in principle, making some arrangements could even put a variable geometry so that it always blows the same bars in a wide margin of RPM.
The problem is that I would need to know if the pistons that already come to me as standard are the same as the F8Q engine with Turbo del R19, but I have not found that information.

And if it were the case, I need some exhaust collectors and a new escape lying or adapt the one I already have, the problem is that I do not know to what extent that is allowed in the ITV.

I have to talk with them on Monday, to see what they say.
For the rest, I thank you for the info, but
do you know of a store, where it sells turbos kits for these engines?
Or could you give me info about Motor F8Q engine techniques and its variants?
Grancisas for your time.

All the best
