NISSAN V-16 '96 ELECTRICA FAILURE PUBLISHED BY MANUAL-MECANICA
Hello, my problem is that I have a Nissan V-16 of the '96 that does not activate the fuel pump when the contact will have changed the reliever but no improvement ... A mechanic gave me an idea that took the reverse and replaced it by a bridge between two of the connections where the reverse is going to check if the pump is activated. Take the test and when the contact was heard the pump but when you pass about 3 seconds, the fuse burned.
Why does it not work with the siholt and with the yes?
What can I do to repair it?
I hope someone could help me

If you are doing the connections correctly and the fuse burns your problem is the pump, I imagine that you are making bridge in the Ignition Voltage that has the relief because the entrance of the battery outlet, if when I work the pump you start you can check if the computer is activating the relay because the ECU only activates the relay by giving the contact for a few seconds and when starting. The pump must consume less than 5 amps, I don't know how exactly but the greatest consumption I have seen is 4.3 amps in a pump that was working without failing.

Try your direct pump with a battery and see how it behaves, if you do well look for a contact cable put a 25 or 30 ampers fuse and try a few days how it goes.
