hi how are things.
Friend, to start disassembling the driving steering wheel you must leave for the central part where the horn is located, if you do not wear screws on its back only carries enclaves that you must force up to disassemble it, then disconnect electrically the horn and find a central nut that keeps the steering wheel firm to its axis. It worries to mark the position with respect to the axis and then hit the axis pulling the steering wheel to release the conical adjustment of the steering wheel to the axis.
Tell us the advance ...

Hello, look before disassembling the steering wheel checks the feats and terminals of the zipper
check that it does not wear or are also lazy if it is Chevy Pop the zipper should be standard if so after a while they wear out internally and you have to replace it
Neesecitas to be sure if the noise originates in the column or in the zipper or suspension.

The direction column is very difficult for me to put some type of noise, the only part is the cardanic joint, but for this failure to spend a lot of time, unless it is changed.
