Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Over Drive button
Greetings friend, first of all you have to scan the TCM (transmission control module), if it enters safe way it is because there is an internal failure that can be electric (some sensor), mechanics (some gear or worn piece) and hydraulic (a low or high pressure of the oil), the TCM is able to detect even if the box is "sliding" (the engine is accelerated but the displacement is little). With the fault code it can be investigated that it is wrong and proceed to diagnose and solve the problem.

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Over Drive button
Ok I understand a fact that I forget to measure in the previous mesage was that when I went to the engine, I got a problem with the solenoid valve and the solenoid those I already changed them and another friend told me that perhaps that solves the problem since everything is related to the transmission but the truck does not have a plate and therefore I have not been able to handle it to check if the problem is solved but I have the problem. TCM and Schest

Manual-Mecanica Answer on the Re: Over Drive button
Greetings, I understand that there is scanner for both ECU (motor), airbag (abs) and TCM (box), I think the explorer uses the same ECU connector, what is there is that the TCM support scanner for it, with respect to the button, the light indicator indicates the failure of the box, not necessarily on Overdrive box (checktrans).
