Urgent Escort Zetec does not go to the donkey published by Manual-Mecanica
Good afternoon, I am fixing an escort with Zetec 1.8 16V engine. The same at times was put in 3 cylinders and made a strange pounding as if it had a piece of loose metal in a cylinder, then the noise stopped doing it.
The problem was a bent valve in cylinder 3.

The problem that arose now is that the car does not start! Directly when you go, it does not send the automatic of the starting donkey and the truth that I have no idea what is any good Samaritan to help me with this ?? please.

That is an electrical problem, the most advisable is to check the cables, a cable or a burned fuse was released, it would be more details to solve

Hello friend, as the partner says is an electrical problem, did you connect all the cables that go to the donkey? It can also be the ignition key problem, probate it directly by sending a cable with the starter to the starter solenoid with the car in contact and if you go well the wiring well, tell us how you go, greetings. :)

Of course, it is electric if you already checked all the fuses, it is likely to have a short current, Czech where you put the key if at the time the signal cable is energized towards the start.

It was a fuse !!! The worst thing is that I saw the burnt fuse and changed it, but when I tried if it was, I did it with a tester in the interior tab (disconnected from the donkey) without noticing that the valve cover is isolated and does not make a dough. I discarded the fuse and lost several savings by disarming and following the cables. A downturn!
Thanks guys for the tips, it was only electric
