Remove the top of the crankshaft one x and verify that the metals are not run (above one another) if you are not doing the same with those of connecting rods, if this were the reason that the engine is tied the engine should be rectified the crankshaft axes of center and connecting rods, put metals on measurement

Friend the pistons swell when there is an overheating, they expand and break or stick to the cylinder, there can also be lack of lubrication.
