I have an 825i rover, they have put the tweezers to start it by putting the polarity badly and now the car does not start, even putting them well.

If polarity was invested, it is possible to burn the guna out of the ECU, or a diode of it.
I spend something similar with a VW a few years ago.
It was easy, changing the diode
