Nissan Micra 1.5 DCI Motor Failure Published by Manual-Mecanica
Good night, first tell you that I am new in the forum and I walk a little lost, so I would appreciate if someone could give me information on the subject. I have a Micra 1.5 dci of 2006, a few days ago I illuminated in the control box the red coast light of motor, so I quickly went to the workshop that I usually go, when they consult the fault they told me that I appeared to have a ruling in the accelerometer, which in principle could continue to work with the car, but that it would probably have to change the accelerator that is electronic. The truth that did not give me much confidence for what I would appreciate if anyone knows the subject or I will go to another workshop to see what they tell me. Thank you

Look are not ekivocados you can walk but after a while the vehicle will no longer accelerate anymore is the start of the failure, I recommend the repair before it dies, in any case there is no problem if you sirulate like this until it no longer does not deteriorate anything else.

Thanks Kikemec, I mean that you think the solution would be to replace the accelerator, right? If this would you know more or less what can cost this repair?

Amigaso that will depend directly on the country where you live, Yake the value of the spare parts and the cost of labor varies a lot, here in Chile the labor is not very expensive does not believe that they charge you more than 40,000 thousand Chilean pesos but from the spare I cannot tell you much cotisalo, sometimes it is not so difficult to change these accelerators depends on in in place they are mount, luck and abrasies.
