ABS problem published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello,

repairing a GTI '99 golf of an flood I have found that the ABS module is burning when we move the plug and leave quite smoke, I thought it would have already dried completely, but it seems that no, or the same water has left the module touched, is that possible ???

Apart from the ABS, I also have the airbag module with Ref: 6q0 909 605 F, which seems to also go to water and it does not go, there is some way to cancel this module even if the device does not work?

Greetings and thank you very much

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: ABS problem
Generally when the connectors get wet they submerge or are exposed to water, it usually happens that water is a very good conductor of the current so it dries very well the connectors usually keep a lot of moisture within them, do not melt the fuses of the ABS?
