-Mencanica problem warning light was turned on
Dear friends, I am new, I bought a Nissan Xtrail Model 2003 car, past transit. I have not traveled more than 40km. Since I bought it and when I went through a break, my vehicle turned off, I started it again and I looked at the anaranjus witness I have seen the user's manual and says tstigo of malfunction. The concession Nissan is too much face, I can spend another Scaner and look at the defect or send it to the house. That you have to look if this witness turns on, the car has 134000 km. Thank you for the help you know how to offer.

Manual-Mecanica response on the topic Re: Motor problem warning light was turned on
Good night
I have no experience with Nissan specifically, but in other brands there is an impact sensor that is, as you describe, a short current and short fuel to avoid the possible fire in case of collision.
The fact is that after a period of time the vehicle is contained normal again but the malfunction alert remains as a warning that the event occurred.
The solution that I would recommend is to go to a workshop that has scanner for your vehicle (almost all have the tip corresponding to Nissan) and delete the fault code. If you turn on again in this same "OBD-II" forum but I think it should not be contained again. I think, I repeat, a warning to the user who triggers a sensor
