Corolla 3C does not accelerate published by Manual-Mecanica
Hello, I have a 3C corolla that starts without problems but only accelerates up to 1500 rpm and then it gives motor failure, to the suggestion of the mechanics the accelerator and the computer are changed, but the continuous failure.
When one accelerates, the air pass opens normally but the tension on the pump solenoid does not vary, it remains in 2.3 volt.
I would appreciate any help since it is a car that was imported particularly and the official representative here does not want to check it.
Thanks from now.
Oscar.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corolla 3C does not accelerate
You can be failing the flowmeter, the butterfly contact box, the crankshaft or camshaft phase sensor ...

do you say that the representative of the Toyota concession in your area does not want to check it? Why, perhaps the car is going to bite?

If you have a problem of this type, it is best to take it to an official dealership or a workshop where you can test the switchboard and breakdown codes before changing pieces blindly.

Anyway, you can denounce this man in the consumer office or in Toyota, so that if he recounts or if they have more similar news they take away the concession of the brand, manufacturers do not want workshops that leave them by scammers or discredit them.

All the best.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corolla 3C does not accelerate
Thanks for your response Megabeat_1, I tell you that today I repaired my vehicle, it was a wiring problem between the CPU box and some component, unfortunately they did not inform me in detail.
Before they would solve it to two alternative workshops that had equipment to check the plant and diagnosed the accelerator, I changed it for another and nothing, then I got another central one, I also changed it and the problem continued, so I decided to post the problem.
This car was imported in particular and the legal representative of the brand as a reprisal measure does not attend it mechanically or in spare parts, this is the case of many Toyota that swarm here.
Greetings and I appreciate your collaboration again.
Oscar.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corolla 3C does not accelerate
If you have told me that the ruling that reflected the engine diagnosis unit related the accelerator and that changing it did not get anything, because you just had the doubt.

You would have the fault very possible in the connector of the accelerator pedal position sensor, since depending on the engine you carry, you accelerately accelerate in the engine through a steel cable (as formerly) or, what your car makes is to convert the position of the accelerator pedal into an electrical signal that the switchboard interprets and prepares.

If the collector breaks, do not accelerate and the light turns on, if the cables are broken, they are short -circuit or the connector is damaged, the result is the same, but changing the piece you do not advance anything, because the problem does not have the piece but the cables.

Greetings and denounces your case in all the forums you find and in some consumer association. Press and notice, know that you have the pan for the handle.

Manual-Mecanica response on the Re: Corolla 3C does not accelerate
It is very possible that you are right megabeat_1, I would have to have made logical reasoning like the one you mention.
What confused me was that when observing the engine, he noticed that when he accelerated, the air intake butterfly was operated then I assumed that the computer came to the computer, which is a magnetic position of position.
I appreciate your help again.
Greetings, Oscar.
