To change the XUD or XUDTE engine distribution strap, you must first be able to penetrate it. The marks consist of two 8m/m holes in the drive pulleys of the camshaft and the injection pump.
These holes have to face them with two mechanized threads one in the cylinder head and the other in the injection pump support, once faced, you have to thread two M8x125 screws one in each pulley.
The crankshaft is supposed to stop it on the side of the inertia steering wheel with a user that is placed in the lower sheet of the closure of the screwed crankcase and subject to the dentate of the starting crown. As it is very possible that you do not have it, the best thing will be that marques with indelible marker, tippex or paint the exact tooth that remains in the upper part of the pinion, and that also marques the part of the block where it is faced.
In this way and with a little care, you will not have problems to heal the distribution.
Do not forget to give two complete laps to the engine by turning it by hand after placing the new strap, and make sure that once this is done, the brands face all.
