IAC valve failure published by Manual-Mecanica
Good afternoon: I am new to the forum and I would like to help me with a problem with my car. It is an escort 1.9 model 96. The car was accelerated for a while and then the revolutions are lowered. It also feels a bit donkey, when accelerating thoroughly it does not advance.
Several people tell me that it can be the IAC but already clean it and follow the problem.
What could be ?? Can the IAC engine be cleaned?

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Valve Failure IAC
The IAC valve is sealed, you cannot open what you can do is clean it again and then put loosening without removing the excess, also what could be is that it is sucking air from a hose or the multiple admission joint can Turn off that could be the affected area changes the hose or the joint according to the lucky case

Manual-Mecanica Response on the Re: Valve Failure IAC
Ok I'm going to clean it again and I'm going to spray as you tell me,
to see if it is a leak, even if I don't believe because it stabilizes later and if it is a escape, it would be a rise and descent of revolutions that not? But UTDS knows more about the subject, so I request their help,
I appreciate your mechanix answer
